Let’s celebrate Public Works Week with an exciting afternoon at Happy Valley Park on Wednesday, May 21, from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m.! Join Happy Valley Parks & Rec for an afternoon of BIG trucks and even BIGGER fun as we celebrate the incredible efforts of our Public Works Team!
This is a great opportunity to show our appreciation for the hardworking Public Works Team who keep our city running smoothly year-round. This is a FREE family friendly event so bring the kids and head to the park for some hands-on fun, including make-your-own dirt cup desserts, interactive activities, and a chance to climb aboard some of the City’s impressive big rigs! Our partners at Clackamas Water Environment Services will also be joining the celebration with some of their awesome trucks. Public Works staff are the behind-the-scenes heroes who maintain our parks and athletic fields, clear debris from roads, fix potholes, manage street signage, and plow snow in the winter. Let’s take a moment to recognize and thank them for their dedication.
