On Saturday, our community partner, Friends of Trees led several volunteer groups in planting 1,100 plants and shrubs within Happy Valley Park. Joining the effort were members from the Happy Valley Parks & Recreation Foundation and Rotary Club of Clackamas. Projects like this one go a long way in helping preserve our city’s tree canopy and ensuring native plants can flourish for years to come.
