The City of Happy Valley is urging all residents who have experienced any incident involving dogs attacking their domestic or livestock animals on the night of April 17, 2023, and the early morning hours of April 18, 2023 to come forward and report their cases immediately. The city is currently looking for more victims who might have had their animals attacked or injured by these dogs during this time frame.

The area between 172nd – Troge Road to Foster and in the Winston Road area has been identified as the location of the attacks. If you are a victim of this incident, please contact Happy Valley Community Services at 503-783-3800 to file a report.

The City of Happy Valley takes the safety of its residents and their pets very seriously. Animal Control authorities are working diligently to investigate the matter and take necessary measures to ensure public safety. The dogs responsible for the attack have been caught and are currently in a secure location. However, it is essential that we identify all potential victims to fully understand the scope of the incident and provide them with the necessary support.

We would like to remind all pet owners to keep their animals on a leash and to monitor them closely, especially during the night and early morning hours. Dog owners should also make sure their pets are properly secured in their yards or homes to prevent them from roaming and causing harm to other animals or people.

The City of Happy Valley will continue to keep the public informed as more information becomes available. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our community safe.
