International Day of Happiness

C’mon Get Happy
International Day of Happiness is March 20
March 20 marks International Day of Happiness, a time to cultivate positivity and brighten the lives of others. It is an important day that reminds us to appreciate the good things in life and embrace happiness as an integral part of the human experience. That’s why the City of Happy Valley has made it a priority to celebrate the occasion and create opportunities for residents and community partners to find their own little slice of happy. With fun activities that promote connectivity and joy, Happy Valley aims to boost our collective bliss.
YOU’RE INVITED!
Join us Monday, Mar. 20 from 4:00 p.m.- 5:00p.m. at Village Green Park for a special celebration. The Happy Valley Parks and Recreation team will host crafts and games, and complimentary shaved ice will be served from the ever-popular Kona Ice truck! Friends, families, and neighbors are encouraged to attend the event together as we recognize the day as a community. *Village Green Park is located at 13786 SE Sieben Parkway (across from the Happy Valley Library)
Follow along!
Because we love a good party, the Happy Valley Parks and Recreation Team is making special plans to visit several other groups around town as part of its International Day of Happiness festivities. Be sure to follow us on social media throughout the day as we bring cheer to some additional community members before we make our way to Village Green Park. Who are the lucky groups? We’re glad you asked! This year, we’re excited to make some special stops at Les Schwab, Clackamas Dog Services and Glenmoore Gracious Retirement Living
These will be private events, but we will post some photos to share the fun. Find us at @happyvalleyparksandrecreation on Facebook to learn more.
