The Happy Valley Library is currently accepting applications for On-Call Library Aides. The Happy Valley Library serves more than 25,000 visitors and circulates almost 60,000 books each month, as part of the LINCC network of libraries. We are looking for service minded individuals who are familiar with a fast-paced library environment.
As a library aide, you will sort, shelve, organize, straighten and check library shelves for proper order of materials. You will need to enjoy working with others and providing assistance to library patrons as needed. Although you will often be working on independent tasks, you will also be part of a supportive and collaborate team of library staff. The full job description and working conditions can be seen here.
This is an on-call position with no regular scheduled hours, but you could be asked to work from 6-20 hours per week as available. This is not a benefit eligible position, but does provide sick leave for hours worked under the Oregon Sick Leave law.
