High School students in the Happy Valley and Clackamas areas are invited to join their peers for an informative and interactive group night as the Happy Valley Youth Council’s Ninth Annual Youth Town Hall event takes place on Wednesday, November 14th from 7:00 to 10:00 pm at Happy Valley City Hall, located at 16000 SE Misty Drive in Happy Valley.

The original Youth Town Hall was seen as an opportunity for teen citizens to voice their opinions on matters that impacted them, and to provoke thoughtful ideas and solutions to make a positive difference in their community. The Happy Valley Youth Council materialized in 2010 as a direct result of the City’s first undertaking of this youth forum. Earnest and eager, these dynamic young leaders have pioneered many events such as offering annual Rx-drug take back, teen diver safety, combat cyber bullying, as well as volunteering their time at our community events.

Although the event is free, participants are encouraged to pre-register.  All participants will receive a T-shirt, while supplies last.  Don’t miss a chance to be a part of something special!  To register or for additional information, contact Happy Valley Youth Council Liaison Stephani Hern at stephanih@happyvalleyor.gov by Monday, November 12th.
