Looking for something good to read? The Library offers a Young Teen Collection, upstairs in the Children’s Room, and the Teen Space, located on the main floor next to the magazines. The Library also offers downloadable e-books and audiobooks for free through lincc.org.

Celebrate all things chocolate from treats to trivia.

Board Game Connection
Thursday, March 28, 5-7:45 pm

Gather around a table and connect with friends over fun and challenging board games. Learn a new game or bring a personal favorite and teach someone else! The featured game for March will be Fireball Island: The Curse of Vul-Kar.

Craft Night: Czech and Slovak Egg Decorating
Tuesday, April 2, 5:30-7:45 pm

Inspired by traditional folk art of Eastern and Central Europe, Daniela Mahoney, a Czech born artist and educator, presents the ancient art of egg decorating. Learn about the various traditional methods of egg decorating and decorate eggs using blue ink, straw and paper. Space is limited. Sign up at the reference desk (503-783-3455).

Teen Volunteering @ the Library

Teen Volunteers

Students in grades 6th-12th can volunteer at the Library, assisting behind the scenes with craft prep and projects and with Children’s programs as activity helpers. Most volunteering happens Saturday mornings or afternoons. Students must complete a volunteer application prior to volunteering. Teen Advisory Board

Teens in 8th-12th grade are invited to help the Library plan teen programs, review teen services and promote the Library to other teens. Interested teens must complete an application.
