Street Lights / Street Trees

Street Lights

All street light requests and street light outages or other repair problems need to be reported to Clackamas County Service District No. 5. Please be ready with the following information:

  • Name
  • Phone number
  • Specific street address nearest to the light
  • Specific nature of the problem such as burned out, always on, and cycles on and off

Nearly all power poles and most street light-only poles have a metal tag with an alphanumeric map location and a one or two digit pole number. These numbers are very helpful if you have them available.

Street Trees

Right of Way Tree Trimming Program

In our Municipal Code Title 16, Chapter 1.20.100.C, landscaping, street trees, and buffering describe the tree-trimming requirements as related to public safety concerns in the City’s rights of way. The City Code requires residents to trim trees affecting public rights of way, helping ensure that traffic safety devices (stop signs, traffic signals, vehicular and pedestrian safety, street names signs, etc.) are visible from roadways. The code also ensures garbage trucks are able to safely navigate City streets.
