The City’s ‘If I Were Mayor’ contest is back for 2025, and there are cash prizes up for grabs!
The City of Happy Valley is once again participating in the Oregon Mayors Association (OMA) ‘If I Were Mayor’ contest. Students are invited to share their creative ideas on how they would govern the City of Happy Valley through a poster, essay, or digital media. Eligible participants must be residents of Happy Valley, enrolled in schools that serve Happy Valley residents, or home-schooled within the city.
Local contest winners will have their entries submitted to a statewide competition.
