Study Rooms

  • Reservable

Library Study Room
Study rooms are available for booking up to two hours per day. Visit go.lincc.org/hvrooms to make a reservation.

Note that they are only available during the library’s open hours:

Sunday, Monday: 10am – 6pm

Tues, Wed, Thurs: 10am – 8pm

Friday, Saturday: 10am – 6pm

After reserving, visit a service desk on the first floor: a staff member will unlock your reserved room. For the last reservation of the day, you must leave the room 15 minutes before the Library closes.

  • Reservations:
    • Ages 13 and up
    • Must have a valid LINCC library card
    • Reserve for 15 minutes up to 2 hours per card user per day
  • Occupancy:
    • Study Room 1 & 2 – up to 4 people
    • Study Room 3 – up to 3 people*
  • Purpose: Great for study sessions or small meetings
  • Location: Main floor, at the back of the adult fiction/nonfiction collections
  • Food and Drinks: Covered drinks welcome. No food allowed.

You must not be disruptive to others. Also, you’re not allowed to use glitter, glue, paint, or other craft materials in a study room. The Library has whiteboard markers available and asks that you use those instead of your own markers.

Can’t find a reservation slot that works for you? Non-reservable, quiet study and reading space is available throughout the library on a first-come, first-serve basis.

* Study Rooms 1 & 2 may be requested up to 7 days in advance. Study Room 3 is only available for same-day reservations.

What You Should Know

  • Reserve up to four hours a day, up to six times per calendar year.
  • Must be 18 or older to make a reservation.
  • The Library does not provide staff to assist in set up, operation, or clean up. Staff are not available to accept phone messages or deliveries for room reservation use. 
  • No room reservation activity may disturb library patrons in their customary use of library facilities or impede library staff in the performance of their duties.
  • Library equipment, including telephones, office supplies, and AV cords are not available for reservations.
  • Users cannot charge a fee to attendees, or fundraise. However donations of goods, for example food or clothing, can be allowed. 
  • Room reservations are not available to promote or sell products or services.
  • All publicity shall carry the name of the organization sponsoring the event or meeting. The City or Library shall not be identified or implied as a sponsor.
  • Library staff reserve the right to enter reserved spaces at any time.

 

Room Use

  • Only rooms, food, and equipment as approved on the application are to be used. The lobby areas are not considered part of the room reservation.
  • Approved foods are limited to box lunches and light refreshments; cleaning fees may apply.
  • No glitter, confetti, candles, open flames, alcohol, smoking, vaping, or drugs are allowed.

Meeting Room

  • Not reservable
  • Suitable for individuals or small groups of 2 – 4 people
Located on the north side of the building (near the roundabout), the Meeting Room is not available for reservation. It’s used as a study hall, suitable for individuals or groups of 2 – 4, and for small library programs.
