Propose a Program

For organizations and community members who are interested in leading a program at the Happy Valley Library in partnership with the Library and City of Happy Valley.

What you need to know about Happy Valley Library programming

Library program content must be non-discriminatory, respectful toward a diverse audience, and fit within the mission of the library and the community it serves.  For Happy Valley Library programming only.
- Your event needs to be free and open to the public.
- The programming process takes time. If you submit a proposal now, it may be several months before it could be added to our offerings. 
- Submitting a proposal does not guarantee approval or scheduling. You will receive confirmation once your proposal has been received. Library staff will contact you if your program is accepted, and we want to move forward. Please do not reach out in addition to this application.

The Library can provide compensation for programming. Please note that the Library does NOT pass any fees along to participants, so the budget does play an important role in accepting proposals. In considering a fee, please indicate materials costs (if any), travel fees (if any), costs per participant (if applicable), and general presenter fees.
