Engineering Division
The Engineering Division serves as a liaison between the citizens of Happy Valley, private contractors, and other jurisdictions and agencies (city, county, state, and federal). The Division staff is responsible for a variety of tasks including plan review and permitting of civil site/grading plans for commercial, industrial, and multi-family private developments as well as the oversight of the construction and erosion control for those developments. In addition to private development projects, the Engineering Division assists the public Works Department with the administering of Capital Improvement Construction Projects.
THE DIVISION’S FOCUS IS TO IMPROVE SAFETY AND CONVENIENCE FOR CITIZENS WHILE PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT AND NATURAL RESOURCES.
