Field Trip Friday: OMSI “Exquisite Creatures Revealed” & Holiday Express Train Ride
December 13th, 11:00am – 5:30pm
Experience the newest exhibit at OMSI displaying an expanded showcase of intricate artwork from artist Christopher Marley featuring rare organisms from around the world! Then complete the afternoon by hopping aboard a vintage rail car for a festive train ride along the beautiful Willamette River.
Field Trip Friday – Carson Hot Springs & Backwoods Brewing
January 24th, 8:30am – 4:30pm
Join us for a cozy day at Carson Hot Springs. This 1930’s resort offers an authentic and traditional bathhouse experience with its clawfoot tubs and vintage stylings. It’s time to unwind and soak away the chill of winter.

Teen Valentine’s Care Card Kit Making Event

Calling all teens! We need your help to put together Valentine’s Day Care Card Kits. Kits will be available to community members to pick up and create Valentine’s Day Cards which we will be distributing to local seniors.
First AID/CPR/AED Training
Friday, January 10th
9:30am-2:30pm
This in-person Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Training combines lecture with hands-on skills sessions. Students will learn how to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies for victims. The skills you’ll learn during this class can make all the difference to someone in need.
Babysitter Training

This in-person babysitter class gives you access to child care information, tips, and can answer all your questions so that you’re ready to start babysitting! With lecture and engaging class activates, these courses are informative and fun.
Sweet Lomy
Learn the art of glass fusing by cutting, glueing and layering bits of vibrant colorful glass. You will be guided through the process and given many ideas to copy and are also welcome and encouraged to bring your own creative concepts into your work!

Venvino Art Classes
Venvino Art Studios is partnering with Happy Valley Parks and Rec to bring you a variety of fun art classes & youth camps!
Create and Learn Series – Join an expert painter for these fun and creative lessons! With your registration, you’ll get a 1.5hr session and an 8″ x 10″ canvas panel. Your instructor will show you how to use different brushes, colors, and abstract techniques. Classes take place from 6pm-7:30pm on Friday evenings.
Tai Chi: Moving for Better Balance (Beginners) * VIRTUAL CLASS
This introductory class welcomes those wishing to learn the initial forms of the Tai Chi practice with a desire to gain confidence, stability, strength, and mobility in a fun and supportive environment. Class powered by Basecamp Prevention + Wellness, part of Providence Heart Institute.
