Join us at Happy Valley Park for Camp Canine, an outdoor adventure for dogs and their people. Start the day with a guided group hike along the Mt. Scott Creek Trail, then enjoy interactive activities, games, and treats designed for pups of all ages and energy levels.

Dumpster Day

Looking for a fresh start after spring cleaning? Happy Valley’s annual Dumpster Day, held the second Saturday in June, offers residents an easy way to clear out the clutter. Whether you have gently used items ready for donation or broken items ready for disposal, this event helps you clean up responsibly and give unused goods a second life.

Fourth of July Family Festival

Saturday, July 4th, 2026

This day-long festival begins in the morning with a morning hike hosted by the Happy Valley Hikers, followed by a community parade where everyone is invited to participate. Throughout the day at Happy Valley Park, visitors can enjoy live music, various inflatable structures, carnival games, a variety of food and business vendors, and a lively beer garden. The event concludes with one of the best firework displays in the area. Entry to the park and most activities are completely free for visitors to enjoy.

Summer Concerts

Thursdays, July 9th – August 27th, 2026
Happy Valley Park

Concerts in the Valley – Each summer, Happy Valley hosts a Thursday night concert series at Happy Valley Park. Evening concerts are “festival style” seating. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs and enjoy this free concert series.  Come and enjoy a fun night out with friends. The stage is located by the Gazebo, and conveniently close to the splash pad and play area.  Food & Beverage/Beer & Wine are available for purchase.

Village Green Park

Concerts in the Park – Want more summer concerts? On select Fridays this summer the Happy Valley Library is hosting a concert series at Village Green Park (across from the library). Concert-goers can spend a relaxing Friday evening in the park, enjoying a variety of musical genres.

The Concerts in the Park series is sponsored by the Friends of the Happy Valley Library.

National Night Out

National Night Out is a nationwide community-building campaign that brings neighbors, law enforcement, and first responders together to strengthen community connections and promote safer neighborhoods.

In partnership with the Happy Valley Police Department, Clackamas Fire District #1, and the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office, the City is once again bringing the celebration to Happy Valley Park for an evening of family fun, community engagement, and live entertainment. By gathering in one central location, the event creates even more opportunities for residents to connect with the people and organizations who help keep Happy Valley safe and thriving.

Oktoberfest

Tree Lighting Ceremony
