Camp Canine

Saturday, May 30th
Happy Valley Park
10am – 2pm

Hit the trail. Make new friends. Let your pup lead the way.

Grab your leash and head to Happy Valley Park for Camp Canine, a tail-wagging outdoor adventure for dogs and their people. This unique event kicks off with a guided group hike with the Happy Valley Hikers along the scenic Mt. Scott Creek Trail, giving participants the chance to explore the outdoors while connecting with fellow dog lovers.

After the hike, stick around for a variety of interactive activities designed to keep pups engaged and having fun. From a bandana-making station to DIY enrichment stations and playful contests like Musical Sits and a peanut butter lick race, there’s something for every dog—whether they’re an energetic explorer or a laid-back companion. A treat bar will also be available to reward your four-legged adventurer provided by our pawsome friends at Earthwise Pet Happy Valley. Our friends at Woofie’s of SE Portland-Clackamas will be providing free nail trims at the event! The Happy Valley Parks & Recreation Foundation will be there with a pup-up shop with some dog specific items for sale.

Camp Canine is designed to be flexible and welcoming, with a relaxed, come-and-go atmosphere. All dogs remain leashed, and activities are optional, making it easy to participate at your own pace.

Come enjoy fresh air, community connection, and a day dedicated to celebrating your favorite trail buddy.
