Summer Reading begins June 1!
Celebrate Summer Reading at the library! This year our theme is, “Plant a Seed, Read.” Here’s hoping your summer reading inspires fresh perspectives and new discoveries.

Need some reading recommendations? Here are our librarian picks for summer 2026.

Summer Reading Game – Ages 0-18
- Stop by the Library and pick up a game board.
- Read for at least 20 minutes on 24 separate days.
- What counts as reading?
- Reading to yourself.
- Having someone read aloud to you.
- Reading aloud together.
- Listening to an audiobook.
- What counts as reading?
- Mark a circle for each day you read.
- Turn in your reading record anytime in August for a free book!

Book Bingo – Adults
- Stop by the Library and pick up a BINGO card packet.
- For every book read or listened to, fill out an entry form and get a stamp on your BINGO card.
- Entry forms qualify you for weekly prize drawings. Weekly drawings begin on June 30 and end on September 1.
- For every BINGO, you earn an entry into the Grand Prize drawing. The Grand Prize drawing will be on September 1.
