National Night Out Week Events Schedule

Monday August 5th 11:00am-2:00pm

Start off the week of National Night Out with a Police Field Day! Partnered with Kidokinetics, Parks and Recreation is offering obstacle courses and field games for all ages, hot dogs from Steamwerkz, special police guests, and more!

Tuesday August 6th 6:30pm-Dark

Join us for National Night Out, a nationwide event that serves to build relationships between residents and promote police-community partnerships. The event also fosters connections with other first responders, including those from Clackamas Fire District #1, the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office and a myriad of local organizations that promote community safety.

The event will offer an evening of summer fun that will include food, educational and interactive safety booths, and live musical entertainment and a drone light show!

Stop by the city booth to pick up your Safety Passport – First 100 people to visit all safety booths and turn in a completed passport will receive a free hot dog!

Wednesday August 7th 10:00am-12:00pm

Follow the RecMobile to Village Green Park for a Police Themed Scavenger Hunt along with crafts and activities and even prizes!

Thursday August 8th 6:30pm-8:30pm

We are welcoming No Po Big Band to the stage for Summer Concerts in the Valley. This night will be special as we honor and recognize all of our first responders. Plus, adults 21+ can enjoy a special wine tasting event with local wineries.

Food and beverage vendors will be on site with items available for purchase, including wine and beer.

Vendors include: Papa Murphy’s, Kona Ice, Valley Public House, Steam-Werkz, and CeCe’s Gyro 

As a bonus, kids can check out the Happy Zone, a fun-filled activity space that offers crafts, games and action-packed excitement. Coordinated by the Happy Valley Parks and Recreation team, this space will provide rotating activities throughout the series, so there is always something for the kids to do while you rock out to the summer tunes.
