City seeks local talent to sing National Anthem this 4th of July
Want to show your love for the U.S. of A. and help kick off the Happy Valley 4th of July Family Festival this year? If you have what it takes to sing our National Anthem and want to perform for Happy Valley residents and visitors alike, then we want to hear from you!
The City of Happy Valley Parks and Recreation is now accepting auditions to perform “The Star-Spangled Banner” at its 2023 Fourth of July Family Festival which is scheduled for Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at 1 p.m. Small groups and individuals are invited to audition.
We ask all interested performers to please submit an a cappella, video performance (cell phone / YouTube, MP4., MOV., AVI. etc.) of “The Star-Spangled Banner” to the Email address below. The City will not host live auditions.
Please note: National Anthem performances must not exceed one minute and 30 seconds. The information listed below must also be included with your audition.

Happy Valley Parks and Recreation is also interested in securing a performer to sing the National Anthem at its 2023 National Night Out event, scheduled for the evening of Tuesday, August 1. If not selected for the 4th of July Family Festival, please also indicate in the body of your Email if you would be interested in being considered for our 2023 National Night Out event.
