Concerts in the Valley

Get ready for another unforgettable summer of music, community, and throwback fun as Concerts in the Valley returns to Happy Valley Park! This season’s lineup features crowd-pleasing tribute bands performing iconic hits from across the decades, bringing high-energy performances and plenty of singalong moments to Thursday nights in the park.

Adventures Without Limits: Fall Foliage Kayak Tour
Oct 3rd, 10am – 2pm
Paddle along calm flatwater, around rock islands, and through colorful autumn leaves as we meander up and down the Willamette. This trip is open to the public, inclusive, and accessible to people of all abilities. Adventures Without Limits specializes in creating a welcoming space for diverse sets of needs.
SPECIAL EVENT: Pacific Crest Trail Day Hike for Residents
September 13th, 8:30am-5pm
Join us for a full day of hiking on the iconic Pacific Crest Trail. Transportation is included as we head to Mt. Hood for a scenic adventure featuring two hiking options, a regrouping snack break at beautiful Barlow Pass, and a finish at historic Timberline Lodge before heading home.

American Red Cross Blood Drive
Thursday, Aug. 27th, 11am – 4pm
We’re teaming up with the Red Cross to host a blood drive at City Hall. All blood types are urgently needed. Donate blood and help save lives.
Babysitter Training
Friday, October 9th, 9:30am-2:30pm
This in-person babysitter class gives you access to child care information, tips, and can answer all your questions so that you’re ready to start babysitting! With lecture and engaging class activates, these courses are informative and fun.
Astronomy I: The Planets
Sept 21st – Nov 9th, Mondays 7pm-8pm
Explore our place in the cosmos with retired NASA scientist Derek Sears and his wife, Hazel. Journey through our solar system, visiting Mercury, Venus, Earth and the Moon; asteroids, comets, and Pluto; and the giant planets Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. Along the way, keep an eye on the night sky as the stars and constellations gradually shift with the seasons.
Ballroom Basics Dance Class
Step into the world of partner dance in a welcoming and supportive environment. Designed for beginners, this class introduces simple patterns, foundational steps, and rhythm across classic ballroom styles like waltz, foxtrot, and swing.
Intro to Fly Fishing
This class is designed to introduce participants to the fundamentals of fly-fishing, providing them with a solid foundation to enjoy and excel in this rewarding sport. Unlike typical casting classes, our course covers a wide range of topics essential for beginners. The course will be split into two types of sessions: one that takes place in the classroom and one that is on-site. The classroom session will involve instruction, discussions, and activities to prepare you for the on-river session which will provide a hands-on experience where you can apply what you’ve learned in a practical setting.
$100 registration fee, includes 1 class session, waders, boots, reels & fly rods
Rock Haven Climbing Gym

Yoga Classes
A gentle introduction to yoga to improve balance, flexibility, and strength without the use of a mat. Chair Yoga works the whole body with a mixture of stretching, yoga, and calisthenics. These in-person series are ideal for those that have mobility issues or have never tried yoga before. Hatha Yoga focuses on traditional yoga postures practiced at a slower, steady pace, with time to settle into each pose and explore proper alignment. Breathwork is an essential part of the practice, helping calm the mind, reduce stress, and support a deeper physical experience.
