Entry to the 4th of July Family Festival remains free for everyone, and all attendees can enjoy live music and access to food carts, vendor booths, and the fireworks show at no additional cost.
CARNIVAL RIDES AND INFLATABLES, HOWEVER, WILL REQUIRE A CITY ISSUED WRISTBAND FOR USE.
Because residents of Happy Valley pay a Parks & Recreation tax, those who reside within City of Happy Valley limits will continue to enjoy complimentary unlimited access to these additional activities. A designated wristband for residents will be issued with proof of address. Non-residents will be required to pay $20 for use of carnival rides and inflatables. A designated wristband for non-residents will be issued upon payment (CASH ONLY). This fee includes unlimited access to rides and inflatables for the duration of the event. Happy Valley’s 4th of July Family Festival remains one of the only free community events offered in the Metro area and we are proud to provide a family-friendly gathering to help celebrate the holiday. The City is introducing this fee to help cover the increasing expenses involved in planning and producing the event.
*Please note, wristbands for residents can be picked up at City Hall during regular business hours beginning June 23-July 2nd or at the Family Festival the day of the event. Please have your ID ready with proof of address.
