ADA Transition Plan Open House
June 25 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
ADA Transition Plans serve as a roadmap for identifying and removing physical barriers in public spaces that do not meet ADA standards.
Accessibility has long been a core priority in Happy Valley. Every park managed by the City includes an all-abilities playground, and ADA-compliant upgrades to places like Mt. Scott Creek Trail and Hidden Falls Trail have increased access for all residents. The ADA Transition Plan will build upon that ongoing commitment by identifying opportunities to further enhance accessibility in the community.
At the open house, residents will be able to learn more about the ADA Transition Plan process, review which areas need improvement and share feedback directly with City staff. Community input is a critical part of the planning effort and will help shape recommendations that reflect residents’ needs and experiences.
