Requirements to be an eligible candidate: You must live in Happy Valley and submit your completed application by Wednesday, May 7th at 5pm. AND you must attend the May 14th New Candidate Interviews (evening) at City Hall. Once your application is received and reviewed, you will receive your instructions and selected time of interview.

Finally, you will be required to speak at the May 14th interview. Two minutes maximum will be allotted for each speech. The speech does not have to be memorized as notes are allowed. This will help the Youth Councilors get to know you better. In the speech, please tell about yourself, about what you have done in the past, and what you plan to do in the future if you are elected a Youth Councilor.
