Yesterday was a special day for Happy Valley history as we had the honor of interviewing Karl Rebstock, a member of one of the city’s founding families who helped shape the community we know today. His son, Mike Rebstock, also joined in to share stories and memories from over the years, with Mayor Tom Ellis on hand to listen and reflect on how far we’ve come.
Did you know there’s a meeting room at City Hall named after the Rebstock family? There’s also a park next to the Community Policing Center that proudly carries their name—a lasting tribute to one of Happy Valley’s founding families.
Stay tuned for the November issue of Happy Valley News for a special feature on the Rebstock family and their lasting impact on our community.
