Mark your calendars for Tuesday, August 5th at Happy Valley Park, where community spirit takes center stage with games, food, giveaways, and fun for the whole family. This free event is all about bringing neighbors together while celebrating the partnerships that help keep our city safe and connected-including the chance to meet and interact with our amazing first responder partners from local police, fire, and emergency services. They’ll be on-site with hands-on activities and equipment demos.
And when it’s time to kick things up a notch, Slicker takes the stage! This high-energy, 6-piece country rock band has been lighting up clubs, rodeos, and festivals across the Pacific Northwest for over a decade. With a rock concert-style performance packed with danceable country hits and genre-spanning favorites, Slicker delivers the kind of show that gets people knocking chairs over to hit the dance floor.
