Guess “who” needed a little help last night? A resident spotted an injured owl in the middle of a busy road late last night, and CSO Kaimuloa stepped in with care and compassion. He gently rescued the owl and transported it to DoveLewis, where the Bird Alliance of Oregon will work to rehabilitate it and return it to its natural habitat.
Our Community Service Officers play an important role in keeping Happy Valley safe. From responding to safety concerns, code violations, rescuing dogs at large, handling parking violations, and assisting with neighborhood issues, they’re dedicated to their job and our community. And now, thanks to last night’s rescue, they can add saving an owl to the list!
