Annexation
Annexation is the process of bringing land into the city boundaries in order to receive city services. Annexation to the City is generally required before land can be developed at urban density or to connect to public facilities such as sewer. Annexation requests are processed by the Planning Division a few times per year and include a public hearing before the City Council.
