In Happy Valley, Memorial Day Weekend marks the opening of the Splash Pad water feature at Happy Valley Park AND the Sprinkling Pad at Village Green Park. These features will run 9am-8pm, Saturday, May 25, through Labor Day. While the weather has been blustery this week, sunny skies and warmer temps will soon return, so get those flip flops and swimsuits ready for the next heat wave!
Fun Fact: The Happy Valley Splash Pad boasts 16 water sprays in a variety of sequences and intensities.
Pro tip: If you find the Splash Pad to not be running when you arrive at HV Park, double check the timer located on the wall nearest the restrooms. It will time out periodically if no one is using it but can be easily reset by pressing the button.
