Variance
A Variance is a process requesting an adjustment to our community adopted standards in the Land Development Code. Though all Variances require a Pre-Application Conference prior to submission of an application, smaller Variances may be processed as a Type II application which includes public notice, but no public hearing. Larger Variances will go before the Planning Commission for their consideration. The criteria and process is described in 16.71 of the Land Development Code.
