Understanding how to be proactive is key to being ready for whatever might occur. Here in the Northwest, we are fortunate to live in a beautiful area, but there are also inherent risks with the location. The Northwest has been predicting for many years that there may be a large earthquake and the influx of wildfires, a pandemic, and extreme weather mean emergencies are bound to happen. Some of these events may require quick evacuations with little to no notice or require you to sustain you and your family for several days before emergency responders have set up emergency infrastructure. Over the past couple of years, we have really been reminded of how quickly things can change. The following are some tips to help you be best prepared:
