Jason Tuck has over 29 years of experience in local government. Tuck has a Bachelor of Science degree from Oregon State University, a Master’s degree in Urban & Regional Planning degree from Portland State University, a Certificate in Public Management from Willamette University and recently received the Credentialed Manager designation from ICMA, the International City/County Management Association. Tuck is one of approximately 1,500 local government management professionals currently credentialed through the ICMA Voluntary Credentialing Program.

Prior to his appointment in 2010 as City Manager of Happy Valley, Tuck served as the Economic and Community Development Director in Happy Valley. In addition, he has experience working for the cities of Woodburn, Sherwood, and Tualatin.

Tuck has made significant contributions to a number of other organizations, including: Rotary, North Clackamas County Chamber of Commerce Public Policy Team, Greater Portland Inc.’s Small Cities Consortium, Happy Valley Business Alliance, Clackamas County Business Alliance, and Oregon City/County Management Association.

Tuck is honored to be working with the Council on the implementation of the city’s goals, working with city staff, our jurisdictional partners, and with the Happy Valley community.
